The room is spacious with a safe and amazing views, and the location is excellent being close to everything, spent evenings at a nearby restaurant enjoying drinks and the atmosphere.

the units were big with jacuzzi. every time in miami beach we stay in this hotel.

The bathrooms are too small.

The venue is clean, with fantastic location near to many shops/restaurants, the center of things, and eateries that were attractive. There's fantastic sports bar with welcome beverages.

Stayed at this place for shopping and loved the fantastic location which made it easy to walk around; the room was spacious with a jacuzzi and a big bed.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly from the minute we got out of the taxi at the door. we got complementary cocktails at check in. we got their 5 hours early so our room wasnt ready but we could leave our bags. the rooms were lovely, basic but clean and well decorated. the pool was small but the clevelander next door had beautiful areas to chill at, as did the Essex!!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone, it was fabulous and right beside the beach, shopping and the night life!!! perfect!!!

I spent 3 nights here and liked that. I had a newly remodelled and good-sized room with 2 beds. 3. There were satellite television, climate control, and a personal safe provided. Rewritten: I enjoyed my 3-night stay at Essex House Hotel. the room I had was recently renovated and spacious with 2 comfortable beds. Additionally, the room came equipped with satellite television, climate control, and a personal safe for added convenience.

The location couldnt be better. The building is in the fab art deco style. Staff extremely helpful. All the glamour of south beach with at a great price tag.

Excelente localização, atenção dos funcionários, conforto das instalações e com um bar/boate no hotel anexo (Hotel Clevelander) que ferve à noite, sem gerar barulho ou desconforto para os hóspedes. Com certeza voltaremos e será o nosso hotel preferencial em Miami. Tem um funcionário americano que fala português, chamado Brandom, muito solícito e educado, que nos deu preciosas informações. The hotel is located in a perfect spot, with a short walk to many shops, restaurants, and fun activities. the staff are friendly and competent, especially the guy working at reception during the night shift. - Nearby Social restaurant is a great place to relax and hang out.

The hotel enjoys a privileged location, although the old structure is well preserved, preserving the decor that stands out in the lobby. The staff is very efficient and attentive. The rooms are small but very clean and functional. So we are very pleased with the hotel.

The only thing that was annoying is that was computed on my debit card undue expenditure in the amount of $ 209.05 (two times) what is causing me hassle to block the payment of the debit card.

Small issues: internet is prety weak in the rooms, but good in the lobby. Watercut during the morning... But nothing major. A bit overpriced about 15%, but the location is excellent

Convenient location right in the heart of everything. the room is spacious with two comfortable beds that we were happy to lounge in all day. 🌟

LOcation - 5 min walking distance from the beach, 1 min to Ocean Drive. Beach towels available on reception. Quite spacious room. A nice japanese restaurant. The same chain as next door Clevelander - so it was possible to use amenities of Clevelander but staying at a very quiet place.

The only small minus is that essex is quite far from luxury party locations (clubs, lounges) - need to take taxi, though it was close to more democratic places.

Not your usual bland style hotel. Staff could not be more attentive and helpful. Art deco architecture was excellent and well kept. The location is simply brilliant for staying at South Beach.

Not a lot, no dining room but who cares when there is so many eating outlets in the Soth Beach area.
